Step One
Define your goal. Get specific.
For example, instead of ‘I want to be rich’, try ‘I want to live in a home that has xyz, plus be able to comfortably afford my bills, and enjoy two holidays abroad each year’.
Rather than an intangible idea, setting a clear intention about your objective gives you something solid to focus on.
Step Two
Write a detailed outline of what you need to accomplish in order to achieve your goal.
Summarise the obstacles you need to overcome, whether they’re educational, financial, etc.
It’s essential that you commit.

Based on your outline in the previous task, create a 5 step actionable plan to work towards your ultimate goal.
Depending upon that goal, each step might be a single action, or it might be an ongoing undertaking, such as taking a required class to allow entry to a specific higher/specialised course.

Now you can write that affirmation we spoke about earlier.
Affirmations boost your confidence and encourage you to remain dedicated to the cause you’ve chosen to work towards.
Daily affirmations are still useful to help keep you focused on your goal, and to create and promote a positive mindset that will subconsciously reinforce and facilitate your endeavours.
But don’t feel obligated to write them out a specific (and arbitrary!) number of times every day, or for a certain number of days. The act of repetition in and of itself is not sacred (though it can be helpful for another reason – keep reading).
